Wall Plaques and Vase Block Tablets
The Memorial Wall is located within a secluded and quiet corner of the crematorium gardens and is constructed of yorkstone.
Wall plaques:
These plaques are positioned on the face of the wall. An illustration or photograph may be added. You may choose between a black granite plaque and a white porcelain plaque.
These plaques do not have their own dedicated vase. If you wish to place flowers, you must use the block of vases that is available on the grass verge opposite.
The plaques are purchased for a ten year period and may also be renewed for a further ten years at the appropriate time.
Vase block tablets:
These plaques are positioned along the foot of the wall. An illustration or photograph may be added. You may choose between a black granite plaque and a white porcelain plaque.
These plaques have their own dedicated aluminium vase.
Please note:
No other forms of memorial item can be placed on, or adjacent to, the Memorial Wall. This includes the fixing or positioning of cards and photographs. No ceramic, glass or plastic vases are allowed in the vicinity of the wall. The council reserves the right to remove any unauthorised memorial placed on, or adjacent to, the Memorial Wall without prior notice being given.
