UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF)
Overview
The UK Shared Prosperity Fund will provide 拢2.6 billion of funding for local investment by March 2025.
The Fund aims to improve life for residents across the UK by investing in three themes:
- communities and place
- supporting local business
- people and skills

Successful projects
South Tyneside's UKSPF Programme has awarded almost 拢8.8 million to 30 projects across the borough to date.
These projects were successful after detailed, independent assessments which looked at how bids could:
- deliver by March 2025
- meet the objectives of UKSPF
- deliver key local growth priorities, as set out in the prospectus
