Keelman's Way School provide relevant and stimulating experiences to support your progress and personal development.
The Post-16 offer is based at our school site in Hebburn and we offer bespoke programmes and courses of study to suit your individual needs.
What is on offer
Keelman's Way pride themselves on supporting each student with the best possible learning and medical support available.
All students have access to the following:
- Public Health Nurse
- Medicine and inclusion officer (school based)
- Community nursing team (where required)
- Physiotherapy
- Occupational therapy
- Speech and language therapy team
- Educational psychologist
- Social work team (children's and adults)
The Like Skills Curriculum is developed to build your independence and prepare you for adulthood. Building on things like managing your money, cooking, travel training and social and employability skills.
You will be given the opportunity to a work placement through the Future Routes Internship Programmes as well as the choice to do a Duke of Edinburgh Award.
