Local voluntary and community groups now have the opportunity to nominate buildings or land, both private and public, that are important to the communities that use them.

This is known as the 'community right to bid'.

Properties and land can be listed if their principal use furthers, or has recently furthered, the community's social well-being or social interests and is likely to do so in the future. This can include cultural, sporting or recreational interests.

In accordance with Section 92(1) of the Localism Act 2011, the owners of the above property requested a review of the decision to include the above property within the 兔子先生's list of 'Assets of Community Value'(the List).

Following the review, the original decision to list has been overturned. Both the owners and the nominating group have been given Notice under Section 91(2) of the Localism Act 2011 that the property is removed from the List.

The review confirmed that the nominated land consisted of residential premises in addition to the commercial premises, and therefore should not be listed, as per the Asset of Community Value (England) Regulations 2012.
