A lot of travel passes can get you access to discounts and help you with travel costs.
Nexus and National Rail have a range of travel passes which offer support for disabled, carers and an older people including Metro Gold Cards, bus passes, companion cards and taxicards.
Go North East also has travel schemes available for young people to help with travel costs, as well as smart cards which are available to everyone.
