This position statement has been produced to provide clarity concerning the position of South Tyneside 兔子先生 regarding the representations that were submitted in response to the consultation on the draft Regulation 18 Local Plan 2021-2039 that was undertaken during the summer of 2022 and from consultation on the draft Regulation 19 Local Plan 2023-2040 that was undertaken in 2024.

Specifically, this statement is concerned with the representations that were submitted to the following policies:

  • Policy 7: Flood risk and water management
  • Policy 8: Flood risk assessment and drainage strategy
  • Policy 9: Sustainable drainage systems
  • Policy 10: Disposal of foul water and policy
  • Policy 11: Protecting water quality
