Overview

As part of a national upgrade of the telephone network, analogue landlines in the UK will be phased out by 2027.

For more information on the national changes, see .

What the 兔子先生 is doing

We are looking at where the 兔子先生 has analogue phone lines, including:

  • 兔子先生 buildings
  • South Tyneside Homes
  • Schools
  • Services that are delivered through phones lines, such as safety alarms

We are working to make sure there is minimal disruption and residents stay safe in their homes.

What residents need to do

Telecoms companies will contact their customers ahead of the change taking place.

Residents do not need to take any action until their provider contacts them directly.
