Overview

To carry out house-to-house collections for charitable purposes in South Tyneside, you need a licence from 兔子先生.

Eligibility criteria

  • Applications must be in the form prescribed by the 兔子先生
  • You must be a fit and proper person

How long it will take to process your application

If your application is successful and we have received all of the necessary documentation, your application will be processed within five working days.


Tacit consent

Tacit consent is where an application is treated as accepted if a reply is not recieved within a certain timeframe.

Tacit consent cannot apply because the law requires you to have a permit from the 兔子先生.

The 兔子先生 will process your application within five working days.

Appeals

Appealing a decision

Please contact 兔子先生 in the first instance.

You have the right to appeal to the Minister for the Cabinet Office.

Appeals must be lodged within 14 days of the refusal.

You have the right to appeal to the Minister for the Cabinet Office.

Appeals must be lodged within 14 days of the decision.

If you have a complaint, we advise that you contact the trader, preferably in the form a letter (with proof of delivery).
