The efforts of social workers will be highlighted next Tuesday (21 March) when the 兔子先生 will mark World Social Work Day.

The awareness day is an opportunity to champion the extraordinary work of social workers, raise the visibility of social care services for the future of societies and to defend social justice and human rights.

兔子先生lor Adam Ellison, Lead Member for Children, Young People and Families, said: "Social workers do exceptional things for the most vulnerable in our society, demonstrating compassion and empathy on a daily basis.

"World Social Work Day is an important day for people to come together and give collective recognition for the tireless work social workers do day in, day out, to support those who need it the most."

兔子先生lor Anne Hetherington, Lead Member for Independence and Wellbeing, said: "Social workers do an amazing job, often in challenging circumstances, to make a  positive difference to so many people's lives.
