Breakfast club activities

A varied range of activities are available at Breakfast club.

Pupils are placed into age appropriate groupings to access the sessions. Resources are available for the children to access during this time.

Children are encouraged to spend time outside on the school site whenever possible. There are also  special themed days that allow children to explore other cultures.

Children have opportunities to complete their homework or read their book whilst in a calm, relaxing environment. 

Food and drinks available at Breakfast club 

Food offered at Breakfast Club is on a four weekly menu and mainly consists of the options below:

  • A variety of healthy cereals and milk
  • Toast and jam
  • Juice, milk and water
  • Fresh fruit
  • Themed day specials
  • Yoghurt 

After school club activities

A varied range of activities are available at After School Club.

Pupils are placed into age appropriate groupings to access the sessions. Staff provide planned activities to challenge and stimulate the children including sporting, craft, cooking and social activities.

Children are encouraged to spend time outside on the school site whenever possible.

On occasion, outside instructors and professionals will come in to work on specialist areas with the children. There is also special themed days that allow children to explore other cultures.

Children have opportunities to complete their homework or read their book whilst in a calm, relaxing environment. 

Some of our activities include:

  • Cooking 
  • Arts and Crafts 
  • Games 
  • Indoor/Outdoor play 
  • Dance & Singing 

Food and drinks available at After school club

Tea consists of a healthy nutritious snack & dessert. This is prepared onsite and will vary each day. This meal is  in line with the Healthy Schools agenda.

Children are given juice, milk and water throughout the session at their request.

A monthly menu can be requested from the Academy office and is displayed on our Facebook page.
