The South Tyneside Local Plan is a planning framework to guide decisions and to shape development in the borough until 2040.
This document is the Regulation 19 Publication draft of the Local Plan for 2023 to 2040. It was published in January 2024.
Consultation on this new draft of the Local Plan took place between Monday 15 January and Sunday 3 March 2024.
